Hi there,
I'm wondering if you'll consider to add in one of your next releases a way to check if a duplicate listing exist and to prevent webmasters to submit the same content each time...
Thanks
Andrea

Re: Duplicates listing not checked.
Many new features that were added to version 1.0.3 comes from the ideas of users of french forum.
Many things are possible.
But I did not understand what you want exactly.
You talk about what list?
The list of webmasters?
At what level, in the admin part?

Hi Arf,
I talked about listing while I had to write site (working on a real estate site right now)...
Let's say Bill adds
-http://www.microsoft.com
and me, the admin, approve it.
Let's say Bill comes back next month and adds
-http://www.microsoft.com
once more in the same or another directory.
That's the point!
There should be some way to prevent users to ad twice or more times the same resource...

Oh, ok I understand now
This feature already exists:)
In the configuration of the directory, there is:
the site can not be included in this "x" categories.
If you put a 1 then the site will not be submitted several times but only 1 times.
I thought about it:)

Hi,
In settings, you have putt 1 for this ?
"It will be possible a site to be found in max. "x" categories:"
How you enter the sites?
As a webmaster or you go through the admin part to enter sites?
Because the administrator does not have this restriction.
But a webmaster even if they have a different account will not include a site already present.
Important sites must be identical.
For example:
and
-en.microsoft.com are not identical.
They are 2 different sites.
But -www.microsoft.com
and -www.microsoft.com/folder/fsdf.html
are identical.

Re: Duplicates listing not checked.
Hi Arf,
I understand your point and I confirm that sites must be identical to be banned from being submitted...
I wish this could have been possible even for subdomains but I can't ask more from this marvelous script...
Thanks for your reply and explainations.

Hi andrea,
I understand your point of view but subdomain sites can be fully fledged.
After you can banish a site if you want more and it will not appear in the directory and you will not be submitted.
