Add the search box to the sidebar

ow do I go about moving the search ox from the top of the index page to the side bar? Can anyone help?

There are some users which are not able to find the content on your site even though it is present over there, so it would be beneficial if you can add the search box to the sidebar. So that user can find the data which they are finding of.

Yes! i also suggest the side search bar in the tool bar. that 'll makek it easy and compact to USE ..
