Re: Languages
Hello
First i want to say that i waited 1 week to get the confirmation email. (that's 2 bad)
But finally i get it..
I have translated the frontend language in romanian also, but without diacritics.
Maybe sometime i'll make it with diacritics.
is the link to the language.
I have put this language in its place with the name ro.php but in the admin section i can't see it so i had to rename it en.php.
Now i have 1 thing to ask: what is needed to be done that you can see the new language in the admin area?

Re: Languages
You mean to clear the cache?
I don't know why but is not working. I cleared the cache from the admin pannel and also emptied the cache folder manually but the new language is not showing up in the language selector.

Re: Languages
Yes, encoding is UTF-8
The language is showing as is translated on the webpage...
But is not listed in the admin area in Main settings-> Language choice:
English
Français
Romanian is missing.
In the language folder i have en.php, fr.php and ro.php
To have it work, i renamed from ro.php to en.php. This way it shows up in the admin area.
But i miss english.

Re: Languages
Well, I guess it could be you miss some part of the code, or accidentally erased it when editing. That's only a guess.
You should wait then for Arf to answer you. This is as far as I get on the subject, sorry.

Re: Languages
Well, i found the "bug"
I had to put ro.php also in the admin language folder.
I did not translated the admin panel because i can understand english, so i ignored it.
That was the problem! Now it's ok, so people remember this: even if don't need the admin pannel translated you must put the corresponding language in the admin/language folder.
Let's say you make hungarian frontend ( hu.php ) and you don't need the admin pannel to be in hungarian then just copy ( not rename ) admin/language/en.php to admin/language/hu.php.

Re: Languages
Another translating language tool. It's good to hear that we can use a variety of tools. Usually I use the Google translate tool...
