New custom fields do not show

Hi,

I am adding a Price field to try to use Arfoo as a classifieds application.

I go to Admin >> Categories >> edit Category

And I add a new field via the form half way down. The page reloads but the custom field is not present in the list of custom fields.

I check in the database and the field is present in the database. It just does not show in the front-end or the admin panel.

I have cleared the cache etc as well

Any ideas why it is not showing up?

I managed to fix this.

I had created an SQL script to import my categories but had not filled in the categoryparent table. Once I imported the contents correctly into this table it now works correctly
