Accented characters problem - SOLVED -

Hi there,
can anyone please insert these characters:
è é à ç ' ì
and see if they turn on strange characters on their pages?

Mine result to be:
è é à ç ' ì

Is there a solution?

Its very strange bug, because I have tested just now with new install and I have not this bug.
You have installed your directory where pliz ?

In phpmyadmin, you have what here ? for charset pliz.

MySQL charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)
MySQL connection collation: utf8_unicode_ci

You have installed the latest version of Arfooo 1.0.3 or is an update?

Arf,
I imported a previous test directory made with freeglobes and in that directory I didn't have problems with characters at all.
I'll check further and will update if I find a solution following your tips.

Hi,
Ok, so the bugs appear on the import you made from freeglobes?
If this is it then, you just need to run the file
install/update/fixdb.php 1 only once!

didn't read your update...
I solved this issue doing a fresh install on a test subdomain and then importing the previously database.
I corrected the characters nad now works like a charm.
