German Umlaut when using Meta button

Hi all,

For some reason, when I try to add a new page using the "Metas" button, the german
Umlaut turn into some special characters.

If you try http://www.sbb.ch for example, the text in the Website Description shows:

Code: Select all

SBB Homepage mit Online-Fahrplan, Ticket Shop und Online-Reisebüro

instead of

Code: Select all

SBB Homepage mit Online-Fahrplan, Ticket Shop und Online-Reisebüro

Any ideas how I can fix this?

it is due to the different kind of code between arfooo and the website.
you must change it manually

I don't get it because if I try to add http://www.sbb.ch in your demo version,
the meta button works perfectly fine...

How did you do that
