Help.. Captcha doesn't work + manual submission bug

Hello,
i just install arfooo directory without problem. The Real problem arise (right now) in two area:
1. the captcha doesn't work.. is there a way to test the captcha alone (maybe this is a file permission issue, i try to read the code but arfoo is too advanced for me).

2. when i try to submit/edit a site through admin page, there is always error message "Sites cannot be offered to this category" .. can anyone explain what the message means ? and how to resolve it ?

The library GD, is activated ?
Or upload one more time captcha image, sometimes is just a bad upload.

For submit webiste in admin, normally you don't have this restriction, is really strange.
What version you use ? 1.0.9 ?

same here captcha is not showing I tried to re-upload images change permissions .. still didn't work
I have GD on server ... Using V 2.0
