404 bij accessing admin

If I try to access the admin section with the line

http://localhost/website/arfooo/admin

I get a 404 with the redirectled line

http://localhost/website/arfooo/admin/main/logIn

I get that, cause there is no directory /arfoo/admin/main/login.

Can someone help me? I think it is a stupid error.

I have a lot of experience with WAMP/LAMP systems, but none with .htaccess.

You use what software, wampserver ?
Do you have activated rewrite_mod ?

I use xampp, and I did activate mod_rewrite

Ok but you use this software with windows or linux ?
If you use with windows, wamperserver is the best, really simple and I use this software for my own test
