How to rewrite htaccess? HELP!!!

Hello,

I have this website:


But I can NOT see/edit pages from FileManager; my host told me I have to rewrite htaccess to see html files, but I have no idea how to do it!

Anyone can help me, please?

My code now:

hello

if your server is a linux one,
the htaccess file given by arf is ready to rewrite
perhaps you must remove the # before rewritebase /

and with ftp change the attributions of the file to CHMODE 755

if your server is windows, I don't know how it is possible to use htaccess
