hi
i just install arfooo and try to setup the script to my needs

i need some help with the arfooo activation email etc
i dont want to use my host sendmail
can i use with arfooo google smtp for send emails ?

afaik sending mail is handled by php's native "mail" function that pipes mails to the local sendmail program (or whatever is defined as sendmail_path in php.ini).

that means that php is handing over all mail to the localhost. if you want to use an external server as relay you can configure your local mta to use the external relay as a so called "smarthost".
