Automatic emails not working

arfooo hello people,
I have a problem happens that does not work although the emails are not sent correctly, for example when a user adds your site to the directory that does not receive automatic email supposedly already programmed from the administrator.
I've tried several ways but nothing solves the problem.
Any suggestions?
In what part I can edit the code to improve this?
